To surrender to the act of physiological birth, we need to be in an environment that feels safe and supportive. There was a time when women would gather together to support each other both physically and emotionally during birth. Today, we aren’t as connected in our communities as we used to be. Couple that with society’s crippling fear of childbirth, and it’s no wonder why it can be difficult for women to find the support they desire during pregnancy and birth. As a labor doula, I strive to provide that safety and support for other women.
No matter what path your birthing takes, as my client you will never feel blind-sided. During our time together we will dive deep into all things pregnancy and birth. I want my clients to feel safe enough to turn off their thinking brain and turn inward once labor begins. I believe the confidence to do this comes from being educated and informed of your options, and having a strong trust in your body.

Fee Includes:
2 Prenatal Appointments. During our prenatal meetings we will get to know each other and go over your hopes and wishes for your birth plan. We will touch lightly on childbirth education, go over the different positions for labor and birth, and help your partner to understand their role during labor and birth as well.
Birth Attendance. The labor support fee includes 12 hours of in person birth support. After the 12 hours, you will be billed hourly at a rate of $25 per hour.
